Hi, my name is Michelle King and I am the Owner and a music coordinator at Triangle Entertainment Agency. For over 22 years Triangle Entertainment Agency has promoted musicians, bands, and their music. We keep a pulse on the NC music scene. We know the bands, the players, and their music.  We use this knowledge & experience to help our clients find the perfect band for their event.   It's been a long and fabulous journey.  Along the way, I have become a specialist in my field.  Music is my business.  Every day. 

As a Music Coordinator, my job is to do your leg work for you and to offer you comprehensive information on professional bands. TEA's goal is to ensure that the bands that we submit for your consideration are so good that the only problem you have with this whole process is option anxiety - which performer or band to choose! 

Detailed Information:
During a phone consultation, a music coordinator will be able to determine what bands or DJs would be the perfect match for your special occasion. We'll place the bands on a "hold status" for you until it is convenient for you, your family, and/or friends to see them perform live.  We may send you to several locations on any given weekend to see only bands that fit the criteria that you have created.  So start early! We will only send you to see bands who are available on your date, who have a setlist that is well suited for your event and within your budget. We will save you a lot of time and effort.

After you choose your band, you'll begin to appreciate working with a professional agency. We will coordinate everything, freeing up your time so that you can do other important things! We will coordinate between the banquet director at your facility/venue, the caterers (if different folks), the band, and you. Basically, if you decide to employ a band through TEA, although you'll be in complete control, you won't need to do anything else regarding your music. We will use our 21 years of experience to help you create an itinerary for your event. We will forward the itinerary to all of your vendors so that on the day of your event, everyone will be on the same page. We will work hard to ensure that your event runs smoothly, because we know we have one opportunity to get it right.

A word from the wise:
A mediocre band can go into a good studio and produce a great CD.
So please don't try to make a decision on your live music based solely on a CD or MP3 file.
